JioPages Browser has launched on the Google Play Store on Android TV. Reliance Jio brings it to Android TV-based smart TVs. The Web browser supports eight Indian languages. Moreover, it includes features such as a dedicated Videos section. In addition, it also has a PDF reader to ease Web browsing for smart TV users.

JioPages also comes with a News section to let smart TV viewers watch trending news in any of the eight supported languages. One can even download e-newspapers to read the news on a bigger screen. The browser comes as an update to the JioBrowser for Android mobile users. Moreover, it is claimed to have over 10 million downloads on the platform.

The browser on Android TV offers a curated video content section with over 10,000 videos across 20 categories. The TV browser also supports eight vernacular languages, which include Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Gujarati, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Bangla. Choosing a regional language on JioPages will also customize the browser news feed and offer users content in these local Indian languages.
Furthermore, JioPages also has two browsing modes – a standard default, and a second private browsing mode labeled Incognito. It also includes a Videos section with more than 10,000 curated content categorized in over 20 categories such as Music, Movies, Kids, and Lifestyle, among others. Another neat feature is the Quick Links tab, which allows Android TV users on JioPages to access the top, most visited sites in a single click.
