On July 31, Reliance Jio is gearing up to launch a new JioBook laptop in India, as indicated by Amazon’s teaser published on its website. It remains uncertain whether Reliance plans to sell the older model on Amazon or launch a refreshed version of the JioBook, which was launched last October. The teaser reveals some key features of the upcoming device.
According to the teaser, the new JioBook laptop will retain the same design as its predecessor, featuring a compact form factor and a stylish blue colour. Amazon claims that the laptop supports 4G connectivity, features an octa-core processor capable of handling high-definition video streaming, multitasking, and various software applications, and is “designed for all age’s productivity, entertainment, and play.”
The teaser also highlights the laptop’s lightweight design, weighing about 990 grams. A full-day battery life, as per Amazon’s claim. The official launch event on July 31 will likely disclose further details about the laptop.

The JioBook laptop is now available at a starting price of ₹15,799, which is notably lower than its original price of ₹19,500 when initially listed on the government website. Prospective buyers can purchase the device through Reliance Digital stores.
Additionally, customers can enjoy attractive discounts of up to ₹5,000 on several bank cards. Notably, credit cardholders from leading banks can avail of a flat ₹3,000 discount, while credit card EMI transactions offer a discount of ₹5,000. Further, discounts may also be available for debit cardholders, and they can find the details on the Reliance Digital website.
