  • In India, Itel has released a new low-cost smartphone. The Itel A49 is the company’s latest product launch in India, following the Itel A48 and Itel A47. The new low-cost smartphone is available at less than Rs. 7,000. The gadget, according to Itel, is India’s most cheap smartphone with a 6.6-inch HD+ waterdrop notch. Despite being a budget model, the A49 includes a fingerprint scanner. In addition, the phone comes with a 4,000mAh battery.

    In India, Itel has unveiled the A49, a new low-cost smartphone. The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and a single storage configuration. It costs Rs. 6,499 and comes with 32GB of internal memory.

    Crystal Purple, Dome Blue, and Sky Cyan are the three colour options for the phone. In addition, consumers can get a free one-time screen replacement if their screen breaks within 100 days of purchase as part of the launch offers.

    Specifications and features

    The A49 has a 6.6-inch display with a waterdrop notch. It features an HD+ resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. Because it is an entry-level model, the phone has a 60Hz refresh rate. It features a RAM of two gigabytes and a storage capacity of 32 gigabytes. Users can upgrade storage up to 128GB via a microSD card slot.

    The phone’s battery capacity is 4,000mAh. There is no mention of support for quick charging. The phone should be able to charge at 5W and 10W.

    A pill-shaped camera module comes on the back. It features a dual-camera configuration with LED flash modules housed within the module. The phone includes a VGA sensor and a 5-megapixel primary camera—the device sports a 5-megapixel front camera hidden under the waterdrop notch for selfies.
