iQOO seems to be on a launch spree as the company will release the iQOO Z7 Pro in the Indian market on August 31st. The company will also launch the iQOO Z8 series in China on the same day. A new iQOO Z8 and iQOO Z8x specifications leak has revealed details about these smartphones.
iQOO Z8 And Z8x Specifications Leak
According to a post by Ishan Agarwal on X (formerly Twitter), both smartphones will feature a 6.64-inch IPS LCD panel with a full-HD resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The Z8 will sport the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM. It will have up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage expandable up to 1TB via micro-SD card. The company claims it is the fastest phone, with the Dimensity 8200 scoring 980832 in the AnTuTu benchmark.
The phone sports a 64-megapixel primary camera with OIS support, complementing a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Furthermore, the Z8 will have a 5,000mAh battery supporting 120W fast charging. Other specifications include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, NFC and IR Blaster. The phone is 8.8mm slim and weighs around 200 grams.
The iQOO Z8x, on the other hand, features the same 6.64-inch FHD+ LCD panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will have the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 processor with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM. It packs 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage, which is expandable up to 1TB via micro-SD. Furthermore, the phone packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 44W fast charging.
Similar to the Z8, it has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The Z8x is 9.1mm slim and weighs around 200 grams. Both phones will launch in China at 7 PM CST on August 31st. However, there is no information about their pricing or global release.
