iQOO Z6 5G Launched in India: Specifications, Price

After a series of teasers and leaks, iQOO has finally launched the smartphone under its Z-series, iQOO Z6 5G in India. It succeeds the iQOO Z5 from last year and also offers 5G network connectivity.  The newly launched comes with a punch-hole cutout for the selfie snapper, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security, a triple camera system, and liquid cooling support. Moreover, the smartphone comes preloaded with a list of camera modes. Let us take a look at the specifications, price and more in detail for the new smartphone:

iQOO Z6 5G Price in India, Availability

It comes in three storage options (standard 128GB). The price in India starts at Rs. 15,499 for the base 4GB RAM storage variant. Its 6GB RAM model costs Rs. 16,999, whereas the 8GB RAM option is priced at Rs 17,999. Customers can also choose between Chromatic Blue and Dynamo Black colours. You can purchase the smartphone on Amazon and iQoo India eStore. It will start to be available on March 22, 2022.

Launch offers on the iQOO Z6 5G include up to Rs. 2,000 instant discount for customers purchasing via HDFC Bank card or EMI transactions. The phone will also be available with no-cost EMI options and exchange discounts.

iQOO Z6 5G Specifications

The new smartphone flaunts a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a DCI-P3 colour gamut, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 90.61 per cent screen to body ratio. It also comes with 2408×1080 pixels resolution, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a Panda Glass protection layer.

Under the hood, the phone powers on the octa-core Snapdragon 695 SoC, along with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM. Moreover, the iQOO Z6 5G comes with 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage as standard. The inbuilt storage is also expandable via a microSD card (up to 1TB).

In terms of optics, the smartphone flaunts a triple rear camera setup, with a 50-megapixel primary Samsung ISOCELL JN1 sensor that has an f/1.8 lens. The camera setup also includes a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a 2-megapixel bokeh camera. However, the bokeh camera is limited to the 6GB and 8GB models.

Connectivity options on the iQOO Z6 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, ambient light, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The phone also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

It also comes equipped with a five-layer liquid cooling system for thermal management. The iQOO Z6 5G will compete against the likes of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Vivo T1 5G, and the Samsung Galaxy A52.
