The iQOO U5x 5G, a new budget 4G handset from iQOO, has been quietly launched in China. The Phone is designed similarly to the iQOO Z6 5G and the Vivo T1 5G. It is an entry-level smartphone that costs CNY 849 (approximately Rs. 11,000) for the base model. We need to see if the iQOO U5x will be available in India. The iQOO U5x is available in two colours: Polar Blue and Star Black. The device is available in 4GB RAM/ 128GB storage and 8GB RAM/ 128GB storage configurations, with prices starting at CNY 849 (approximately Rs. 11,000) and CNY 1,049 (approximately Rs. 12,500), respectively. There has been no word about the iQOO U5x outside of China.
The back of the iQOO U5x is polycarbonate, with a dual-camera bump and LED flash on top, and iQOO branding on the bottom. On the right, there is a volume rocker and a power button that also functions as a fingerprint scanner. On the bottom is a micro-USB charging port and a speaker grille.

The 6.5-inch LCD panel on the iQOO U5x has a resolution of 1,600720 pixels (HD+) and a refresh rate of 60Hz. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset powers the device, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging keeps the lights on.
An Adreno 610 GPU handles the graphics. The iQOO U5x has up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, expandable via a microSD card slot.
In terms of optics, the iQOO U5x has a dual-camera setup at the back, with a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls, housed in a waterdrop notch—the iQOO U5x ships with Android 11-based Origin OS.
