Yesterday, iQOO launched their iQOO Neo 5S and iQOO Neo5 SE in China. Today, on December 21, the brand launched their iQOO U5 5G device in the hometown. The latest iQOO offering is on the affordable side of things. However, it still does offer a pretty powerful chipset for the price. Here are all the details!

iQOO U5 5G Specifications
Starting with the display first, the latest device by iQOO comes with a 6.58-inch full-HD+ OLED display. Additionally, the display offers a fast 120Hz refresh rate as well. We also get to see a waterdrop notch design on the smartphone.
On the processor front, the iQOO U5 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. The octa-core chipset pairs up with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Further, there is also a microSD card slot for expansion. In terms of software, the handset runs on Android 11 OS with the iQOO UI 1.0 custom skin on top, right out of the box.

For photos and videos, the latest offering by iQOO features a dual rear camera setup. The setup includes a 50-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 2-megapixel macro sensor. At the front, the device offers an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.
Talking about the battery capacity, the iQOO U5 5G packs a big 5000mAh battery. This battery capacity is paired up with 18W fast charging support as well. We can also find a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the device for security.
iQOO U5 5G Price in China and Availability
Unfortunately, the price of the latest offering by the brand is currently under wraps. However, we do know that the device will be available in three variants. These are a 4GB RAM/128GB storage, 6GB RAM/128GB storage and 8GB RAM/128GB storage options.
When it comes to the availability of the device, it will be up for pre-orders via Chinese e-commerce platforms from December 24, 2021. The handset will be available in the Dark Black, Silver White, and the Magic Blue color options. For now, nothing is known about the global availability of the device. However, these details shall hopefully surface online in the coming days.
