Earlier this year, iQOO launched its iQOO 8 series. It consists of two flagship smartphones in the lineup. However, the iQOO 8 series is still waiting to be launched in India soon. Meanwhile, an iQOO 9 have already started appearing online. But a new smartphone has surfaced online – the iQOO 9 Pro. iQOO 9 series is all prepped up to launch in China soon. It will make its debut on January 5, 2021, in China.
Ahead of the launch, the upcoming iQOO 9 Pro with model number V2172A has surfaced on the Geekbench benchmark database. The listing once again confirms that the Pro variant will be featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. Furthermore, it will boot Android 12 out of the box. iQOO 9 Pro Geekbench Listing Reveals Details
According to the listing, the upcoming device has scored 1277 points in the single-core test in the Geekbench 5 benchmark. Whereas, the multi-core score stands at 3787 points. The listing also reveals that the iQOO 9 Pro will have 12GB of RAM.

Although, we can expect the company to launch the iQOO 9 Pro in other memory variants as well. The device is now confirmed to come pre-loaded with Android 12. In addition, the listing reveals the presence of a processor with codename taro and 1 + 3 + 4 core configuration. It also confirms an integrated Adreno 730G graphics processing unit. All of these minute details confirm that the upcoming handset will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.

Meanwhile, previous leaks have hinted that iQOO 9 Pro will feature a second-gen LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It might be a 2K resolution display similar to the iQOO 8 Pro. The upcoming smartphone might come with a 4,700mAh battery and 120W fast charging. But as of now, these are only rumours. We might have to wait for confirmation to know more details.
