The iQOO 8 series of smartphones are all set to launch on August 17 in China. Moreover, this particular series will consist of the iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro smartphones. The former vanilla variant has now been spotted on the IMEI database. This has revealed the key specifications of the smartphone ahead of its launch. In addition, the smartphone’s model number has been listed as I2019. India launch seems imminent as well now. Furthermore, the smartphone now seems to come with 4G LTE connectivity.
iQOO 8 Pro Specifications (Leaked)
The iQOO 8 Pro will feature a big 6.78-inch AMOLED display. In addition, this AMOLED display will basically be based on Samsung’s E5 display panel. Moreover, the display will come with curved edges and carry a 2K resolution. Under the hood, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset will pair up with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The smartphone will also come with 4GB of extended RAM.

On the software front, the flagship iQOO 8 Pro will run on Android 11 with the OriginOS custom skin on top. The smartphone will pack a 4,500mAh battery along with 120W fast charging support. In addition, we will also see 50W fast wireless charging support on the device.

When it comes to optics, the smartphone will feature a triple rear camera setup. The setup will include a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 primary sensor with gimbal stabilization. This will allow users to take very stable videos without any shakes. Additionally, the setup will also include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 ultrawide sensor alongside a 16-megapixel telephoto sensor with OIS support. The smartphone will come with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner alongside X-axis linear motor and a Hi-Fi audio chip.

The setup will include a 48-megapixel Sony IMX598 primary sensor and a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor. Additionally, the smartphone will come with a 13-megapixel telephoto sensor as well. The smartphone is also expected to feature an optical in-display fingerprint scanner alongside dual X-axis linear motor.
