iQOO is all set to launch its iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro in India shortly. Although the official date is yet to be revealed, the standard iQOO 8 has received BIS certification with the model number V2136. Receiving this certification suggests that the launch is near. Interestingly, the phones were launched in China back in August as successors to the iQOO 7 series. Now reports suggest the iQOO 8 Pro could debut in India as iQOO 8 Legend.

iQOO 8 Series Specifications
The standard iQOO 8 comes with a 6.56-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1,080 X 2,376 pixels resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 92.76 screen-to-body ratio, 398 PPI, and 19:8:9 aspect ratio. Both iQOO 8 and iQOO 8 Pro phone carries a triple camera setup on the back with a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 13-megapixel portrait lens.
The device also consists of a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video chats. It also features an in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlocks, 120W fast charging support, and 5G network connectivity.

The iQOO 8 smartphone is supported by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 SoC paired with Adreno 660 GPU. The phone runs on Android 11 out of the box and measures 159.06×75.14×8.63mm plus weighs 199.9 grams.
Apart from this, the iQOO 8 Pro sports a 6.78-inch 2K Samsung E5 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 92.2 per cent screen-to-body ratio, 517 PPI, HDR10+, Dolby Vision, and DCI-P3 colour gamut.

The iQOO 8 Pro/Legend comprises a centre-positioned punch-hole cutout for the selfies, an in-display fingerprint sensor for security and curved edges. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast-charging, 50W fast wireless charging, and 10W reverse wireless charging. The iQOO 8 Pro runs on Android 11 OS with iQOO and has a 16-megapixels snapper for selfies.
