iPhone SE 3 With A14 Bionic Chip Tipped To Launch in Q1 2022

Earlier there were rumors that the iPhone SE 3 could launch in 2021. However, it looks like these rumors are just that and leaks suggest it can launch sometime in 2022.  A new report by MacRumours suggest that Apple will unveil the SE 3 during the first half of 2022. The analyst also shared more details on the device’s design and specs. Let’s take a look at the specs, expected pricing, and other details.

According to the report, the big upgrade for the iPhone SE 3 could come in the form of an A14 Bionic SoC. To recall, iPhone SE 2 launched with an A13 Bionic SoC same as iPhone 11 series. He also reports that the SE 3 will support 5G. This would be another significant upgrade over the LTE-only iPhone SE 2.

iPhone SE 3 Leaks

Considering the leaks, the design details of the phone are unclear as of now. Although a previous leaked concept renders suggest it will feature a punch-hole cut-out, slim bezels, and a metal-glass body. It is tipped to sport a 4.7-inch Full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) LCD screen, whereas the 2023 model will have a 6.1-inch display.

Meanwhile MacRumors, citing analyst Kuo, claims that Apple will retain the iPhone SE 2020’s design for its successor. This means that the device will feature a Home button for Touch ID. iPhone SE 3 is likely to sport thick bezels at the top and bottom of the display. In addition, the device will also stand as the “cheapest 5G iPhone ever”.

Furthermore, there are speculations that iPhone SE 3 can pack a single 12MP rear camera and a 12MP front camera for selfies and video calls. Both the cameras are likely to support 4K video recording at up to 60fps. Moreover, it will be powered by an A14 Bionic chipset, paired with 4GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage.
