Apple is all set to unveil its new Apple iPhone 15 series at its Wonderlust event with the USB-C Port. The Cupertino giant is hoping for a smooth transition to USB-C and is working on new accessories compatible with it. Similar to the introduction of the Lightning port back in 2012, everything from AirPods to MagSafe will make the switch. Reports claim the company is working on a new USB-C MagSafe battery pack for the iPhone 15.
Apple Working On New MagSafe Battery Pack
According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple plans to introduce a new MagSafe Duo battery pack based on USB-C for the iPhone 15 series. This unique accessory will allow users to recharge multiple devices at the same time. The new MagSafe accessory will allow users to stack multiple battery packs on top of each other to charge numerous devices simultaneously wirelessly. This means that you will be able to charge two iPhones at the same time by placing them on either side of the battery pack.

Apple Will Update All Accessories With USB-C
Gurman further says that Apple will update all its accessories with the USB-C port to make them more consistent. These include all AirPod models and MacBook accessories, which could get a refresh by next year. He also claims that the Apple Watch Magnetic Charging Dock, which was discontinued, could be relaunched with a USB-C port.

Gurman states that he does not expect “any brand new type of accessories” to debut at the Wanderlust event. Moreover, Apple will not market the new Apple AirPods Pro with USB-C as a “third-generation AirPods Pro”, meaning they will likely be a mere refresh. The next generation of AirPods will either arrive next year or by early 2025.
