Moreover, rumors suggest that the upcoming MacBook Pro models and the iPad mini 6 will feature the same mini-LED display. However, another report suggests differently. The CEO of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) contradicts the report and believes that the mini LED iPad won’t launch this year.

Next iPad Mini Won’t Feature Mini-LED Display?
Earlier, DigiTimes claimed that the upcoming iPad mini will feature a mini-LED display. However, display analyst Ross Young is going against it and claims that it won’t have the display. He also claims that he confirmed it with Radiant Opto-Electronics. This is the same source that DigiTimes claims would provide the display to Apple. Although there is no confirmation from any side – all of these are suggest speculations and assumptions at this point.

Meanwhile, another recent 9to5Mac report claims that the upcoming iPad mini will launch with an A15 processor. It will also apparently feature a USB Type-C port and include a magnetic smart connector. Although there is no exact word on the launch timeline. However, numerous reports of a year-end launch are surfacing online.

According to previous reports, the iPad mini 6 will have a display between 8.5 and 9 inches with thin bezels. It’s also possible that it’ll abandon the standard home button for the Touch ID fingerprint sensor on the power button. The launch date for the new iPad and iPad mini has yet to be announced. To fulfill the increased demand for portable computing devices, Apple is likely to launch both models in the near future.
