    iOS 15 Update

    Release Date

Apple generally reveals the latest versions of iOS at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference in June. Last year virtual WWDC began on June 22, where they introduced iOS 14, iPadOS 14, and macOS Big Sur. This year, WWDC 2021 will again be virtual because of the pandemic. And will be held on June 7-11 for its various products and iOS 15 and iPadOS 15.

It becomes available to developers for testing as soon as it is announced and available for beta users. So, we can expect iOS 15 in its regular timeline as usual for the company.

    New Features

According to reports, it will bring an array of improvements across notifications, the home screen, and privacy features.

    Notification Updates

Apple apparently planning to be implementing a multitude of modes that adjust notification settings based on a user’s status with iOS 15. This means users will be able to set different notification preferences based on the current status. For example, if you’re awake – you may get notifications with sound, while sound might be disabled if you’re sleeping.

In addition, users will be able to choose categories like driving, working, or sleeping with this iOS 15. Additionally, there will be an option to create custom categories for handling notifications in different ways. The menu options for choosing a mode will be available on the Lock Screen and in the Control Center.

    iMessage

iMessage also have some update going on but, haven’t revealed yet. Apple is aiming to race with WhatsApp.

    Presentation mode in FaceTime

What is more, is that the last year 2020 will be known for the time when everybody ultimately got into video-conferencing apps. Google has also recently updated its google meet interface. But this attention went to the limitations of Apple’s FaceTime platform. In iOS 15, FaceTime would make it a much easier choice for Apple users who want to stick with the platform, still get some work done.

    More languages in Translate

In iOS 14, Apple added a Translate app to its operating system, giving you a smooth way to translate other languages. But it only supported 12 languages, and google supports far more languages which gives iOS translator no points. So, we can expect more additions in this sector in iOS 15.

    Other updates might include

Users can now choose categories like driving, working, or sleeping. Also, they can create custom categories for handling notifications in different ways. Users will be able to set different notification choices if they are not sleeping, for example, you may get notifications with sound, and sound might be disabled if you’re sleeping.

The menu options for choosing a mode will be open on the Lock Screen and in the Control Center.

With Apple, you can now set automatic replies to incoming messages based on these statuses. But this option is only available when driving but not in other situations.

Moreover, in terms of privacy, iOS 15 will add a new menu that shows which apps are silently collecting data from users. This comes just as Apple aiming is to increase device privacy even further.
