Huawei Nova 9 SE to Feature This Camera: Specs Leaked

Since the US ban on Huawei smartphones, the company has slowed down development and launch of new phones. The Huawei Nova 9 SE is one of the work-in-progress phones of the Huawei Nova 9 series that might launch later this year. After the Huawei P50 and P50 Pro flagship models, the Nova 9 SE is a new rage, especially owing to its one-of-a-kind camera.

The recent renders and leaks by WinFuture have helped us understand what to expect from this upcoming phone. Due to the ongoing sanctions in the US, it is expected to launch without the Google Mobile Service or GMS. Read ahead to know more about its price, specs and key features.

Expected Features and Specifications

This phone comes with a 6.78 inches 1080 x 2388 pixel IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Huawei Nova 9 SE has a Qualcomm SDM665 Snapdragon 665 Octa-core processor paired with a minimum of 8GB of RAM. The graphics are supported by the Adreno 610 GPU. Rumours say that the phone will run on the Android 11-based EMUI 12.

Perhaps the biggest feature of the Huawei Nova 9 SE is its quad rear camera setup with a 108-megapixel primary sensor. This is the company’s first phone with a 108-megapixel camera, and is sure to get every mobile photographer drooling! Besides, there is an 8-megapixel sensor coupled with an ultra-wide-angle lens and two 2-megapixel sensors for depth effects and/or macro shots. The phone is reported to carry a 16-megapixel front shooter.

Though there has been no official confirmation, we can expect the Nova 9 SE to come with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone would be fueled by a non-removable Li-Po 4,000 mAh battery that supports 66W Fast Charging. Advertisements claim that they can charge upto 75 per cent in 20 minutes. The phone is expected to come with other features like NFC, a power button fingerprint sensor and a USB Type-C charging port.

Huawei Nova 9 SE Price

According to WinFuture, the smartphone would be available in the market at a price ranging between EUR 250 – EUR 280 (approx Rs. 21,000 – Rs. 24,000). However, these are not the exact price in European markets, but rather after being converted from other currencies. The smartphone will be available in a variety of colour options like silver, blue and black. Though exact dates are not known, we can expect to see the smartphone in Indian markets in June 2022.
