Huawei Nova 8 and Pro smartphones have launched in China. It will succeed the Nova 7 series and come as beefed-up models of the Nova 8 SE that launched in September. Moreover, both the 5G smartphones come with 66W fast charging support.

Huawei Nova 8 and Pro Price, Availability
The Pro variant has a price tag of CNY 3,999 (roughly Rs. 45,100) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Whereas, CNY 4,399 (roughly Rs. 49,600) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant.
However, the Huawei Nova 8 has a price tag of CNY 3,299 (roughly Rs. 37,200) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant. Whereas, CNY 3,699 (roughly Rs. 41,700) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The bookings of the phones are now open in China, with deliveries starting from January 7.

Huawei Nova 8 Specifications
It sports a 6.57-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2,340 x 1,080 pixels resolution. Additionally, it has up to 90Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.
It ships with the Kirin 985 paired with Mali-G77 GPU, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 10-based EMUI 11 custom skin out of the box.

In terms of camera, Huawei Nova 8 has quad-cameras with a 64MP primary camera (f/1.8 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a couple of 2MP lenses for macro and portrait shots. On the other hand, it also has a single 32MP camera on the front for selfies and video chats.
There is a 3,800mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. Connectivity features include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, and USB Type-C port. Both the phones have an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.

Huawei Nova 8 Pro Specifications
It features a 6.72-inch FHD+ OLED display with 2,676 x 1,236 pixels resolution. In addition, it also has up to 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, and a pill-shaped dual-punch-hole cutout.
It ships with the Kirin 985 paired with Mali-G77 GPU, 8GB RAM, and up to 256GB storage. The phone runs on Android 10-based EMUI 11 custom skin out of the box.
