Honor plans to launch a new mid-range smartphone in India, the Honor X9b. The company CEO previously posted an unboxing video of the device and teased its arrival in the country soon.

A new leak has now revealed the price and launch timeline of the Honor X9b ahead of its release in India. Here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming phone.

According to tipster Sanju Choudhary, the Honor X9b will arrive in India next month. It will likely launch in the country in the 2nd week of February.

Moreover, the tipster claims the phone will be available in a single variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. The phone will run on MagicOS 7.2, based on Android 13, out of the box.

Furthermore, the Honor X9b will cost Rs.27,999 or Rs.29,999 in India, and the offer price could be less than Rs.24,999.He also claims the upcoming Honor Choice Buds X5 TWS will be given free with the device.

Previous leaks suggest the Honor X9b will be available in Sunrise Orange and Midnight Black colours in India, with the orange variant sporting a vegan leather finish.

In addition, the device will have an “Ultra Bounce Anti Drop” display and will use the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset. The rest of the specifications will likely be similar to the Chinese variant.

The Honor X9b in India will feature a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone has a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a pixel density of 431ppi.

The Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 will power the Honor X9b paired with up to 12GB of RAM. It will run on Magic UI 7.2 based on Android 13 and have up to 256GB of storage.

For optics, the Honor X9b in India will have a 108-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel ultrawide camera, and a 2-megapixel macro. On the front, there will be a 16-megapixel sensor for taking selfies.
