HMD has teased the announcement of its first smartphone in India, the HMD Arrow. The company previously asked users to suggest a name for its first smartphone in the country.

The HMD Arrow is likely to be rebranded as the HMD Pulse, currently available in Europe. This suggests it will likely be a budget 4G phone with a price tag of under Rs.15,000.

Since the phone is already available globally, we can expect the HMD Arrow to have similar specifications. The phone has launched in four colours: orange, green, blue and pink.

Arrow Specifications

The HMD Arrow, which is confirmed to launch in India, will sport a 6.65-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, the phone has a peak brightness of 600 nits and a pixel density of 265ppi.

The UniSoc T616 powers the phone with up to 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 14 out of the box and comes with 64GB of storage.

For optics, the HMD Arrow could arrive in India with a 13-megapixel primary camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. It also packs a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support. It will be available in Meteor Black, Dreamy Pink, and Atmos Blue.
