Square Enix has announced a successor to their Hitman Sniper game at E3 2021. The game is titled Hitman Sniper: The Shadows and it will be launching later this year on Android and iOS. Moreover, the new Hitman game is taking a free-to-play turn as the previous game is listed for Rs. 30 on the Google Playstore currently. The game used to be costlier but, Square Enix has brought down the price of the game.
The Hitman series of games is one of the most loved franchises in the realm of gaming. It all started with the first Hitman games for PC. From Hitman: Blood Money to the 2012 hit Hitman: Absolution and now the big-selling, Hitman 1, 2 and 3 series of games, the franchise has come a long way. Moreover, it only makes sense to come up with something like Hitman Sniper: The Shadows for the smartphone gamers out there.

Smartphone gamers will definitely be happy as the recent Hitman PC games are extremely graphically demanding. Most players won’t be able to play these titles seamlessly because of that. Hence, a smartphone game of the popular Franchise will come as a life saver.
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows: What We Know So Far
Hitman Sniper: The Shadows comes with an interesting twist of events. Players actually do not play as the popular Agent 47. Instead, players control one of the five new characters that are a part of The Shadows. Although Square Enix has not really revealed an exact launch date of the game, it will be launching later this year. Also, a trailer was shown at E3 this year which reveals a couple of things. However, the trailer does not show any gameplay of the upcoming mobile game.

A short clip on the game’s site reveals the listing of Body Disposal, Lure Strategy, and Accidental Kills gameplay features. The trailer shows the concept on which Hitman Sniper: The Shadows is based. From the looks of it, it does follow a similar gameplay mechanics like the previous Hitman: Sniper. However, the absence of Agent 47 and the entry of The Shadows group to carry forward the Initiative 426 is keeping players excited to eager to learn more about the game.
Like the previous game, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows will require players to eliminate targets from a distance using a sniper. However, this time, players are expecting the introduction of way more creative ways to assassinate targets.
