Here’s Your Very First Look at the OnePlus Nord N20 5G!

OnePlus is currently working towards their launching their OnePlus Nord 2 Pac-Man Edition real soon. Now, we also get the very first look at their OnePlus Nord N20 5G model. The smartphone will reportedly launch as a successor to the OnePlus Nord N10 5G of last year. Going by that we can it to be an affordable mid-ranger device.

Now, popular tipster @OnLeaks, aka, Steve Hemmerstoffer has joined hands with 91Mobiles to reveal the very first design renders of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G. In addition to providing design renders of the device, Steve also revealed a couple of things in terms of specifications. Here’s everything that has been leaked about the smartphone today.

OnePlus Nord N20 5G Design Renders

Going by the design renders, we can see that the OnePlus Nord N20 5G will sport a flat frame. Now, this is something that gives off a very iPhone-like frame design. We can also see those iPhone-like edges on the device. To recall, last year, the Nord N10 5G featured a 2.5D curved design and was quite different from the N20 5G, as per the renders.

On the right side of the frame, we can see the power button. Meanwhile, on the left side of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G frame, the volume rockers and SIM card tray is located. The bottom portion of the device houses a 3.5mm headphone jack, microphone, speaker grille and a USB Type-C port for charging the device. At the top, there is another microphone for noise cancellation features.

Towards the front, we can see a punch-hole display design. Moreover, this punch-hole design is situated at the top-left corner of the smartphone’s display. At the back, we can see a camera module that houses three camera sensors. Of these three, two are quite big sensors. An LED flash accompanies the three sensors as well. As per the renders, the smartphone can be seen in the Grey and Purple colour options.

OnePlus Nord N20 5G Specifications

According to OnLeaks, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G will come with a 6.43-inch display. Moreover, we will get to see a flat display on the smartphone so, no fancy curved display there. In addition, this is an AMOLED display that we are talking about.

On the processor front, the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. This octa-core chipset is an upgrade over last year’s Nord N10 5G’s Snapdragon 690 SoC. Moving to optics, the OnePlus Nord N20 5G specs will include a triple rear camera setup.

According to Steve, there will be a 48-megapixel primary sensor accompanied by two 2-megapixel sensors. At the front, Nord N20 will sport a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. In terms of dimensions, the smartphone will reportedly measure 159.8 x 73.1 x 7.7mm. Now, this is including the 9.6mm protrusion caused by the rear camera sensors.

To recall, the Nord N20 5G definitely seems to be an upgrade over the Nord N10 5G. We can see a slightly better processor and bigger display. However, one thing that OnLeaks does mention is that there are chances for this device to be the OnePlus Nord CE2 5G instead of the OnePlus Nord N20 5G. For now, this is all that is known about the upcoming device. However, more details about the device are expected to surface online in the coming days.
