Captions are always a better way to understand every content. Google has been working on the life caption feature for quite some time and now it is available on Google Chrome. The Live Captions feature spontaneously creates captions for any content on the Google Chrome browser. It is currently available on few smartphones but will soon be available to everybody.
The feature only supports the English language for now but users are expecting, it will get more languages soon.

Google Chrome live caption feature
Google Chrome has been working on this feature for quite some time. The company was successful in adding this feature to the Google meet application. It can successfully produce captions on the basis of what the other person is saying.
Currently, it is working fine with YouTube videos, podcasts, and WhatsApp audio and video files. Also, this feature can take some time to download speech recognition files while playing a podcast. The company is improving the feature day by day to provide better captions.
How to enable life captions?
It is a very simple method to enable live caption feature. Once the user comes across any video, Google Chrome will ask if you want to use the live captions feature or not.

Users can also click on the music icon located near the extension icon on the top right corner of the browser. So after this, the feature will automatically provide captions for all the streamable content.
The live caption helps to provide a better live streaming experience. Now, users can watch any content on the internet very easily. Also, they don’t need to find that content on youtube or other streaming platforms for captions.
