Rockstar Games took to their Rockstar Newswire section to officially confirm the GTA Trilogy getting remastered via a post. The GTA Trilogy Remastered has been officially scheduled to release later on in 2021 itself. The upcoming remaster shall is called the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition. Moreover, the post in Rockstar Newswire reveals a couple of other vital details as well.
Rockstar Games is all set to release their upcoming GTA Trilogy Remastered for mobile phones as well. Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition will be coming for multiple platforms. So, no one will actually be missing out on this legendary remaster.

Currently, the trend of classic games getting remastered is very popular. In fact, it is quite necessary to update the classics to make them still stay as beautiful in the mind of gamers as they were back in the day. For example, Capcom’s remaster of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3 took the realm of gaming by storm. Now, Rockstar Games is all set to drop the blockbuster bomb with their Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition.
GTA Trilogy Remastered: What Else?
Rockstar Games also state that they shall be removing the currently existing versions of the games from the digital retailers. This is a move to “prepare for launch” of their upcoming Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy – Definitive Edition.

Further, the makers of the game also unveiled that the GTA Trilogy Remastered will be arriving for Android and iOS in the first half of 2022. They also revealed that since GTA III will be turning 20 soon, they have a couple of plans to celebrate that. GTA Online players can collect certain special gear items. These include liveries and clothing items.
