Google Pixel 6a May Have Same Design as Google Pixel 6: Reports

Google Pixel 6A expects to launch at the Google I/O conference in May. The image of the Pixel 6a retail box went viral on the internet ahead of its release. Tipsters also confirm that the phone is now ready for release. It will come with a design similar to Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro. The Pixel 6a expects to be the successor to last year’s Google Pixel 5a.

Unverified website called Techxine shared the Pixel 6a’s images. Although there is no way to confirm whether the leaked image is of the Pixel 6a, it appears to be quite credible.

The design language is identical to that of Google’s current flagship phones, including the Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

Google Pixel 6a Specifications

Just Like Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, the phone has a camera strip on the back. On the strip, there are two camera sensors. The back panel appears to have a glossy finish, but given that it is part of Google’s low-cost lineup, the tech giant may opt for a glossy plastic panel rather than a glass finish. Previous rumours suggested that the Pixel 6a would be made entirely of plastic.

Power buttons and volume buttons are on the right side of the smartphone. In terms of design, the Pixel 6a vastly improves on the Google Pixel 5a. If we will consider rumors seriously, Google had gone back to a fairly basic design in its previous affordable phones, such as the Pixel 5a.

The Google Pixel 6a will ditch the basic design and sport the same design as the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Those who had the influence of the design language of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro but were unable to obtain them due to their high price tag may find the Pixel 6a appealing.

Previously, according to reports Pixel 6a, which is to release this year in May. It would not be available until July due to a chip shortage.
