The Google Pixel 6 series is expected to come later this year, and there may be two models in the lineup this time. Google is expected to name these two variants Google Pixel 6 Pro and Google Pixel 6, ditching the ‘XL’ suffix in favor of ‘Pro’. The specifications for the two phones have surfaced online in a new leak, combined with a promise that Google will provide five years of software support for these devices. If true, this might be a game-changer for a lot of Android users.
Jon Prosser of FrontPageTech revealed the Google Pixel 6 Pro and Google Pixel 6 specifications. Both handsets will feature 5G, Wi-Fi 6E, and be AER certified, according to his sources. We expect the phones to use Google’s own processor.

Google Pixel 6 Pro Specifications (Expected)
The Google Pixel Pro is expected to come with a big 6.71-inch plastic OLED display and operate on Android 12. The Google 6 Pro might have a triple back camera configuration with a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor, a 48-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. There could be a 12-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The Google 6 Pro could have 12GB of RAM and storage options of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB. According to the leaks, it will have a 5,000mAh battery.

The Google Pixel 6 will run on Android 12 and will have a smaller 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The Google Pixel 6 could have an 8-megapixel selfie camera on its front. The phone is likely to have 8GB RAM and a 4,614mAh battery. There are two internal storage options: 128GB and 256GB.

5 Year Software Support
Furthermore, Prosser believes that Google will provide at least five years of software updates for both handsets, which would be a significant promise if true. According to previous speculations, the phones would have a dual-tone design with a camera module that looks like a strip.
