If you are an administrator, Google Meet will be getting an audit log feature. This will enable users to take a look at potential security problems.
One of the most useful features Google Meet will get this year is the ability to mute everyone in the meeting. The “Mute-all” button will enable teachers to mute everyone in the meeting at just a click of a button. Having said that, teachers can end the meeting for a particular participant if they want to.

You will also be able to send transcripts of classes to students who are unable to attend a particular class. This is really helpful for students wanting to attend a particular lecture or rewatch a previously attended one.
The company is also improving Google Meet’s bandwidth requirements, optimizing the performance of the platform on slower connections. Students can also send emoji reactions, making the class more interactive. Administrators can also manage the emoji panel to prevent any misuse.
