With Google I/O 2022 keynote event inching closer now, the details surrounding the keynote are getting even more interesting. Especially now that the company has finally published the schedule for the event. As usual, the event has its usual app development talks, along with some product announcements in tow. Although the company does not reveal much, but the schedule can give us a look into what to expect:

Here is everything you should expect from Google I/O 2022
Google I/O keynote is the event that kicks off the developer conference. As is usual and expected, it happens at the beginning of the conference giving us an overview of the event. This time, the keynote takes place on May 11, 2022, at 10:00 am PT (13:00 pm ET). Sundar Pichai’s Google Keynotes will be the main attraction for the general population as the main event tends to be more consumer-focused.

But after this, the main keynote will be followed by the Developer keynote & “What’s new in Android.” This is where we expect to learn more about Android 13, Wear OS, and updates to developer products and tools. Now, Google says the schedule is slightly different this year. All keynotes and product announcements will take place on day one, while on-demand technical sessions will go live on day two.

- Chrome OS: Learn how Google is supporting innovation with Chrome OS and enabling developer success with tools and guidance.
- Google Home: Discover a new era for Google Home — the best platform for smart home developers to build and innovate.
- Google Pay: Payments are constantly evolving and so is Google Pay. Join this session to learn more about what’s new in Google Pay.
