Galaxy S21 Series May 2021 Security Update Brings Camera Improvements

Galaxy S21 series started receiving security update as of May 2021. However, it is not only boosting the security of its flagship smartphones but also improving the camera experience. Additionally, there is a system update that is right now reportedly available to users in European regions. We can expect the global rollout soon. It is also receiving the latest May 2021 Android security patch that brings fixes for known issues.

Furthermore, the system update for the Galaxy S21 series is 1.2GB in size. It’s rolling out with firmware version G99xBXXU3AUDA. Samsung is yet to update its official website that features S21 Ultra’s changelog. Moreover, a screenshot available on Sammobile shows that the series is also getting an improved Camera app. In addition, the users also receive updates for the file-sharing between Galaxy devices with Quick Share is enhanced.

New Update on Galaxy S21 series

Additionally, the overall Galaxy S21 series performance is also getting a boost with “new/enhanced” features. The screenshot highlights that overall security has also improved alongside receiving the latest May 2021 security patch. Samsung notes that users will not be able to downgrade to the old software version following the current update due to “security policy”. As always, the Samsung GalaxyS21 series users can expect to receive a notification about the over-the-air update’s availability.
