Samsung is launching the Galaxy S20 FE 5G in India next week. Samsung India on Twitter announced the launch while confirming that the sale will start on March 30. However, the 4G variant launched in India earlier last year.

According to a report from The Economic Times and sources, Samsung will bring the Galaxy S20 FE 5G to India for under INR 50,000 ($688). It will be in a bid to tackle other 5G phones making their way to the local market. Furthermore, the 4G S20 FE is available at INR 49,999 though it’s currently down to INR 36,647 on Amazon India.

There’s a dedicated page for the Galaxy S20 FE 5G for people who want to register. It lists on the Samsung India website with 128GB storage and three color options of Cloud Navy, Cloud Lavender, and Cloud Mint. Samsung did announce the sales will start on March 30. However, it’s not confirmed if there will be an event for the launch or just an announcement.

In terms of specs, Galaxy S20 FE 5G features a 6.5-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-O display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The smartphone has a triple rear camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens. Whereas, on front S20 FE 5G will sport a 32-megapixel selfie camera. Moreover, it packs a 4,500mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. Furthermore, connectivity options other than 5G include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
