Galaxy A22 5G, Galaxy A12s Pricing, Specifications Tipped

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is expecting to launch in India next month, according to rumors. However, even if its launch date is not out its pricing has leaked online. Apparently, the pricing for the phone for its two RAM + storage configurations can start from just under Rs. 20,000. Although this smartphone has already launched in European markets. Additionally, another phone’s pricing has surfaced via leaks – Galaxy A12s.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Price in India (Expected)

Courtesy of 91mobiles, the 6GB+128GB variant of the smartphone will be available for Rs 19,999 in India. Whereas, the 8GB+128GB model will be available for purchase at Rs 21,999 in the country.

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G Specifications

The upcoming 5G smartphone by Samsung comes with a large 6.6-inch full-HD+ display. Additionally, the display comes with a notch design at the front alongside a 90Hz fast refresh rate. On the processor front, the upcoming Samsung smartphone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. Additionally, the octa-core chipset is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. Furthermore, the internal storage is expandable up to 1TB via a microSD card slot.

For photos and videos, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G comes with a triple rear camera setup. The setup includes a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, there is also a 2-megapixel depth sensor in the setup. On the front, the handset comes with an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies and video calls.

On the battery front, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G packs a large 5000mAh battery. This is smaller than the 6000mAh battery that the Galaxy M series phones pack, but it is more than enough to last a day. Moreover, the smartphone also comes with a 15W fast charging support.

Samsung Galaxy A12s Price (Expected)

According to known tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore, it will be offered in a 4GB + 64GB storage configuration that will cost EUR 180. Whereas, the 4GB + 128GB model will cost EUR 200 (roughly Rs. 17,700). It is expected to launch in Black, Blue, and White colors.

Samsung Galaxy A12s Specifications (Expected)

Going by the fact that the Galaxy A12s will launch as an Exynos variant of the Galaxy A12, we can assume a couple of things on the specifications front. For starters, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will come with a 6.5-inches HD+ IPS panel. Additionally, the Google Play Console listing reveals that the display will come with a resolution of 720 x 1339 pixels.

On the processor front, the Samsung Galaxy A12s will be powered by the Exynos 850 SoC. The octa-core chipset will pair up with 3 GB of RAM. Moreover, we will most likely see 32 GB of internal storage. Other variants of the device may show up as well at the time of launch.

For photos and videos, the A12s may come with a quad rear camera setup The setup will include a 48-megapixel primary sensor alongside a 5-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. Additionally, we will probably see two 2-megapixel sensors for macro and depth shots, respectively. On the front, the smartphone will most likely feature an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The Galaxy A12 comes in Black, White, and Blue color options. We can expect to see the A12s come with similar color options as well.
