In its fitness tracker range – Fitbit Charge, Google has introduced a new variant, Charge 5. This new device is distinct from the regular Fitbit Charge series because of the inception of a colour display. The Charge series is one of the lineups that offers health and fitness features for core users at a lower price than the flagship Fitbit devices.

Fitbit Charge 5 Specifications
Fitbit Charge 5 features a 1.04-inch AMOLED color display with a Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It also has an always-on display option. The display is visible under bright sunlight. This is due to the increase in its brightness twice as compared to the other variants.
Fitbit Charge 5 has a heart rate tracker for 24/7 monitoring and provides notifications when you are above or below your personal ranges. It also provides comprehensive detail of various wellness metrics via the Health Metrics dashboard in the Fitbit app, including breathing rate, skin temperature variation, and SpO2.5.

Another feature of Fitbit Charge 5 is the Stress Management Score in the Fitbit app, which tells if you’re mentally ready to take on more challenges or if you need to recharge. With Premium, you get access to more than 300 meditation and mindfulness sessions from brands and experts. With a Premium subscription, one can also track long-term trends and personal ranges.
Price and Availability
The Fitbit Charge 5 price is set at $180 which converts to roughly Rs. 14,000 in global markets, and is already up for pre-orders.
