  • Far Cry 6 is easily one of the most anticipated games of 2021. Ubisoft’s Far Cry franchise has been immensely popular, with Far Cry 3, Far Cry 4 and Far Cry 5 being the titles that stood out. Far Cry 2 paved the way for these games to take place in the first place. Far Cry 6 is scheduled to release on October 7, 2021. The game is already up for pre-ordering across the various platforms, which includes Windows, PlayStation and Xbox. Now, ahead of its official release, Ubisoft has released a post-launch roadmap for the game.

    Further, this particular roadmap basically unveils everything that the game developers have planned for the game after its release. We get to see three DLCs, an addition Far Cry game and more. Without any further ado, here is everything that the brand new post made by Ubisoft reveals.

    Far Cry 6 Post-Launch Roadmap

    Far Cry 6 Pre-Order Details

    Going by the roadmap for the upcoming Ubisoft title Far Cry 6, we can expect a couple of things from its Season Pass. Starting off with the DLCs, there will be three of them, namely:

    Far Cry 6 DLC Episodes:

    • Episode 1: Vaas: Insanity, scheduled for release in November, 2021.
    • Episode 2: Pagan: Control scheduled for release in January, 2022.
    • Episode 3: Joseph: Collapse scheduled for release in March, 2022.

    Now, these three DLC episodes will allow players to play as some of the most iconic villains of the Far Cry franchise. We also see the return of Vaas and this time, as a playable character. Going by the post made by Ubisoft, “As each villain, you’ll fight to escape the horrors of your own mind starting with nothing but a pistol. You’ll have to find new weapons and acquire power-ups in order to delve deeper into the minds of each character.”

    Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon

    Back in 2013, Far Cry released a title named Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon. Now, this was a short game but, regarded as one of the most memorable ones in the game. For the PC gamers out there, the Far Cry 6 Season Pass will offer the original 2013 game. On the other hand, console gamers will be receiving a remastered version of the game which is specifically created for the next-gen consoles.

    The Blood Dragon Set

    People who purchase the Far Cry 6 Season Pass Editions of the game will also receive:

    • One outfit set called the Blood Dragon Gear Set
    • Two weapons named AJM9 and Kobracon
    • One vehicle named the Omega Enforcer
    • One weapon charm named KillStar
    • One Fang for Hire named K-9000
    • One vehicle Chibi named the Blood Dragon Chibi

    Additional Content

    Now, moving to additional challenges and content, players who purchase just the base game can play this as well. These additional Far Cry 6 challenges and missions include:

    • Three crossover missions which will be featuring Danny Trejo, Rambo and other popular characters.
    • Weekly Insurgency missions which will see Anton Castillo supporters rise across Yara. They will pose new threats to the players who will then have to eliminate them. On doing so, players get to earn new gear.
    • In addition, there will also be six special operations for Far Cry 6 players. Going by the Ubisoft post, players will have to, “snatch highly unstable chemical weapons from Antón’s arms dealers and get to the extraction point before it overheats.” Further, these missions will primarily take place at two locations initially, namely Mesozoico and Maceo. Ubisoft has also revealed that four other maps shall be rolled out later on.
