Now, the company is reportedly working on a smartwatch that might run Google’s Wear OS. However, the watch is still under development with Facebook focusing on features such as health, fitness and messaging.

Except the above, no other details about the watch are available right now. One thing to note is that Facebook is also working on its own OS, which might be used instead of the Google Wear OS.
The smartwatch will be the third hardware product Facebook will offer. Reportedly, the company is also working on several other products such as the Ray-Ban smart glasses, which is expected to launch sometime later this year.
According to the Verge, the company also acquired a startup known as CTRL-Labs. It is a startup working on a wireless input mechanism. They are also working on devices that will electrically transmit messages from the brain directly to a device. Project Aria is another technology Facebook has been working on for years.
