“Giving more people access to Disney Plus at a lesser cost benefits customers, marketers, and our creators. More people will be able to see our great content. Advertisers will reach a larger audience, and storytellers will reach more fans and families,” said Kareem Daniel, head of Disney media and entertainment distribution.

According to Disney+, the new subscription will be cheaper than the ad-free option. The ad-free version costs presently $7.99 (approximately Rs 610).
Disney revealed 129.8 million Disney+ members, including 5.9 million Disney+ Hotstar users. By 2024, Disney hopes to have 230-260 million subscribers. Disney is likely to announce a debut date soon. Users in the US and Canada will be the first to benefit from the subscription plan.
It has Super and Premium plans in India. The monthly premium plan costs Rs 299, while the annual plan costs Rs 1499. In India, Disney+ Hotstar also provides a Super plan membership. The package costs Rs 899 annually. The Super plan offers Full HD video, while the Premium plan supports 4K.

Disney+ has previously announced plans to expand to over 50 countries, including Europe and the Middle East. As a result, the second part of the year will be available in 42 nations and 11 additional territories. In addition, Disney+ will be offered in places like South Africa and Poland. In 42 countries, Disney hasn’t specified a specific date.
