Previously, the app was limited to ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu users during its initial launch last month. OpenAI has also unveiled exciting ChatGPT updates for macOS users. These macOS features are currently exclusive to Plus and Team users. OpenAI will extend access to Enterprise and Edu users in the coming weeks.

The ChatGPT app on macOS integrations are designed specifically for developers who frequently rely on the AI platform. According to Alexander Embiricos, product lead for the ChatGPT desktop team, a major user habit involves copy-pasting text or code from ChatGPT into other applications.
How To Work With Apps?
To use a compatible app, start by ensuring it’s active. Next, click the “Work With Apps” button in the ChatGPT chat bar and choose a supported application. A banner will appear above the chat bar, showing the apps ChatGPT is connected to. When you send a message, ChatGPT will incorporate relevant content from those apps into its response. After sending, you can view the additional app content ChatGPT referenced directly in your chat.
