Homegrown Indian manufacturer boAt has launched the Lunar Comet smartwatch in India. This budget watch brings a large display and Bluetooth calling support at an affordable price. It joins the recently launched boAt Lunar Mirage smartwatch and comes with a circular display with a rotating crown.

The boAt Lunar Comet smartwatch sports a 1.39-inch circular HD display with a resolution of 240×240 pixels. Furthermore, the display has a peak brightness of 500 nits and supports over 100 watch faces.
There is also support for a wake gesture that allows you to power on the display with your hands. Moreover, there is a function crown on the right that will enable you to navigate the UI, such as accessing the menu, changing watch faces, etc.
The Lunar Comet features Bluetooth Calling support, so you can make and receive phone calls thanks to the built-in microphone and speaker. You can save up to 10 contacts, allowing you to stay in touch with your friends and family on the go. Moreover, there is a dial pad support to call others using the watch instead of your smartphone.
The watch supports 100 sports modes, including workouts, running, walking and cycling. There is also support for heart rate, SpO2 blood oxygen, sleep monitoring and menstrual tracking. Being a smartwatch, you can receive notifications and alerts on it apart from controlling music playback and camera on your smartphone. Furthermore, the watch has IP67 splash and dust resistance, making it ideal for workouts.
The watch has a 300mAh battery that can last up to 7-10 days of typical usage and has a charging time of 2 hours. It can be paired via the boAt crest app, available on Android and iOS devices.

The boAt Lunar Comet will go on sale on Amazon and boAt’s website for a price of Rs.1,299. It will be available in multiple colours, such as Active Black, Deep Purple, Olive Green and Royal Orange. There is also a Metal Grey colour variant that comes with a metallic strap.
