  • Xiaomi’s sub-brand Black Shark is all set to launch another gaming smartphone. The Black Shark 4S is all set to launch on October 13, 2021. Ahead of its official launch, already a lot of things about the smartphone are gradually getting revealed. Previously, we got to know of its specifications and now, we have come to know of its design.

    The Black Shark 4S design has now been revealed by the company’s Vice President. We get to see a completely new look to the Black Shark series of phones. Moreover, the overall design aesthetics of the smartphone look very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 5 as well.

    The Black Shark 4S specs will include a Samsung E4 AMOLED display. In addition, the display will come with a very fast 144Hz refresh rate. We will also be seeing a 720Hz “ultra-quick touch response” on the display. Under the hood, the upcoming flagship gaming smartphone will most likely be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Plus chipset. The chipset will pair up with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage.

    Moving to the design of the smartphone, it comes with a horizontal rear camera module. In addition, we can also see that this horizontal module will be housing a triple rear camera setup. The overall design statement of the device seems very similar to the Asus ROG Phone 5. We can also see that Black Shark 4S will be dropping their trademark ‘X’ from the smartphone’s design and give it a brand new look of sorts. There is also a small ‘S’ logo at the rear panel. All-in-all, the design pretty much screams gaming all over.

    Further, the Black Shark 4S is also expected to arrive with triggers. The usage of triggers in high-end gaming smartphones like the Asus ROG Phone series is very trendy. This particular smartphone will most likely follow the trend as well. The AnTuTu scores for the device are out as well. It scored 887,734 and that is the total combined performance of both the CPU and GPU.
