Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), the popular mobile game after an arduous 2020, is out now for both Android and iOS. The game was successful commercially and was called PUBG. It was, however, banned later by the Indian Government. After lots of trouble, the developer decided to disassociate itself with the Chinese party and launched BGMI specifically for the Indian market.

Krafton is making an active effort towards the Indian market by making investments in esports and gaming in India. Games such as BGMI can only remain successful on the back of a healthy community. In an attempt to keep open communication with its players, Krafton responded to some of the most frequently asked questions right from emulator support to anti-cheat systems, and even about the Hindi voice pack.

Emulator Support
There is a huge shout and cry by BGMI players in India for emulator support. However, Krafton believes that bringing support for emulators might lead to a number of issues. These issues might lead to degradation in the quality of gameplay as these might open up ample space for hackers and cheaters.
In response to the growing demand for emulators, Krafton made it clear that they won’t be bringing emulator support. This is because it is easier in emulator versions for illegal actions to take place than in a mobile environment.

Bonus Challenge
With the growing demand for Bonus Challenges, the developer Krafton responded in positive signalling that bonus challenges might arrive in BGMI. While the response was ambiguous, Krafton neither confirmed nor denied, rather acknowledged its popularity.
Hindi Voice Pack
Krafton confirmed the possibility of a Hindi Voice Pack in BGMI since the game version is exclusive to India. The move makes sense so as to gain furthermore popularity using localized content. They confirmed that the addition of the Hindi Voice Pack is in review and will inform players once it is actualised.

Prime Subscription
A Prime subscription service was available for users of PUBG before it was banned. It rewarded its users 5UC per day for a month along with other exclusive in-game items. However, the Prime subscription is not back with the Indian version. However, Krafton responded that they are currently reviewing this and will further inform its users when confirmed.
