Krafton recently introduced the BGMI 3.5 update with 120 FPS support, providing gamers a smooth gameplay experience. Furthermore, the update also brought plenty of changes, including a new Ice Frontier Theme, events and challenges for players to enjoy. However, many players claim that the BGMI 3.5 update has removed 90 FPS support in the game. This has disappointed many gamers who previously enjoyed high frame rates on their device.
BGMI 90 FPS Support Removed On Some Devices
According to an X (formerly Twitter) user, Sanju Choudhary, the BGMI 3.5 update removed 90 FPS support (Extreme+) on their device. This was reported on Realme GT 6T, which uses the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 processor.

Similarly, users with Poco F6 have mentioned that they cannot see the 90 FPS option after the BGMI 3.5 Update. However, after the update, some devices like the OnePlus Nord 4 and the CMF Phone (1) have received 120 FPS support (Ultra Extreme)
Some users with iQOO Neo 9 Pro have also revealed that they haven’t received 120 FPS on their device. While there has been no official confirmation from Krafton on why some players cannot see the 90 FPS, this is most likely due to an optimization issue.

Since the BGMI 3.5 update is the first one to bring 120 FPS support, it might take time to roll out to all devices with future patches. However, flagships like Nothing Phone (2) and Vivo X100 Pro are still waiting for 90 FPS support in BGMI.
