The BGMI 3.0 update is likely to arrive in the last week of January 2024, according to rumours.YouTuber Luckyman has revealed information about the upcoming update.

The BGMI 3.0 update will have massive changes, including a new Katana or Macehete weapon. This weapon will be powerful enough to kill enemies and block incoming bullets by deflecting them.
Moreover, there will be a new Shadow Force Mode that will include the Shadow Scout Clone skills and the Ninja Hook skill. The clone skill will allow players to clone their characters to confuse enemies, while the Ninja Hook will help you climb buildings.

Furthermore, this update will bring the A5 Royale Pass, including a female RP 100 outfit. Another change is that drivers can use healing supplies while driving a vehicle.
In addition, the BGMI 3.0 update will also add bullet penetration, which means if an enemy is standing behind his teammate, both will receive damage instead of just the first one. Previously, only the person standing in front had to bear the damage while the one behind remained unscathed.
