There are reports that Apple is working on a foldable iPhone on multiple occasions. However, it looks like the project is moving along well. The foldable smartphone is a niche market that is already explore by a few OEMs. In the latest report from EqualOcean citing Omdia, it will come with stylus support. However, it is not clear whether it will be a new design or support its existing Apple pencil.

Foldable iPhone in the works?
According to leaks, it can use a Ceramic Sheild glass. It will be chemically treated to improve tolerance when folded or unfolded. Moreover, it can also sport a display size between 7.3-inch and 7.6-inch and may have an OLED panel. It can also be possible that Apple’s foldable iPhone will be affordable comparing to other similar offerings in the segment from competing brands. But since the phone can launch in 2023, the components required for foldable phones should come down by then. There’s always a possibility of the launch pushed further if it comes across any hardware or production issues.

Separately apart from the foldable iPhone, Apple is also to be working on ‘Project Titan’. It is an autonomous electric vehicle that is referring to as the Apple Car. The company is also in talks with various automakers, including Kia, Nissan, and Hyundai. However, it is yet to find a perfect partner that suits its requirements. We hope to learn more details about the foldable phone and electric car going forward.
