Apple Rumoured To Be Working On A New Rugged Smartwatch

Rumours are abound that Apple may launch a rugged smartwatch for athletes and hikers. This Smartwatch will be for those who want to use smartwatches in extreme environments.

A report in Bloomberg states that the company is internally discussing an Apple watch variant for late 2021 or early 2022. The rumors suggest that the smartwatch will be very productive in extreme environments for sportsmen.

Rumors about Apple’s rugged Smartwatch

The first Apple watch came in 2015 and since then the company is discussing a new model for extreme sports athletes. The 2015 Apple Watch is still famous among athletes but the need for rugged smartwatches is increasing day by day.

Rumors are that if the company goes ahead with the rugged Smartwatch then it will launch it as a special edition Smartwatch. Just like the time when the company came up with the product in partnership with Nike and Hermes.

Users believe that Apple will partner with other fitness companies or Sports companies to launch the rugged Smartwatch. Not only this but 812 port also says that the company is discussing a new dub of the Apple watch. The name of the new dub will be Explorer edition and it will have all the features of the Apple watch.

Also, Bloomberg states that the company is planning on featuring a new swim tracking feature on the current smartwatches. The company mostly releases a new Smartwatch in September.

Lastly, in the year 2020, the company came up with a new series of Apple watch and the new affordable Apple Watch SE. Apple is still avoiding rumours and is not giving any hints about the the rumoured Smartwatch. However one thing is confirm that if the company launches the rugged watch, it will have a more tough casing and rubberised exterior.
