Apple is rolling out a software update for iPad, Mac, and iPhone models. It is a slew of minor updates to its operating systems, bringing bug fixes and performance improvements. Moreover, the over-the-air updates are available to download directly to devices. It lists iOS 14.4.1, iPadOS 14.4.1, macOS Big Sur 11.2.3, and watchOS 7.3.2. In addition, it addresses a memory corruption issue within the WebKit browsing engine.
Apple has also updated Safari on Mac machines running on macOS Catalina and macOS Mojave. The issue could have allowed vulnerable actors to execute arbitrary code on Apple products (iPhone, iPad, Mac). Here are all the details on the new software update:

The updates are minor in nature, as indicated by the version numbers. Moreover, they do not provide any alterations to functionality. Instead, each offers “important security updates” that are recommended by Apple to be installed by all users.
This fix aims at the memory corruption issue that could have allowed attackers to process maliciously crafted Web content. Apple notes on its security page that the vulnerability lists under CVE-2021-1844. Additionally, there are reports by security researchers of Google’s Threat Analysis Group and Microsoft Browser Vulnerability Research.

How To Download
Users with iPhone 6s and later models are eligible for iOS 14.4.1. Similarly, Apple has provided iPadOS 14.4.1 for iPad Air 2 and later as well as iPad mini 4 and newer models.
You can check for the new update on your iPhone or iPad by going to Settings > General > Software Update.
On the other hand, macOS Big Sur 11.2.3 works for all MacBook, iMac, Mac mini, and other Mac computers that are compatible with the original Big Sur update. Normally, macOS updates reach eligible models automatically. You can, however, check for the latest update manually as well — by going to System Preferences > Software Update.

Whereas, if you have watchOS 7 or a newer version, you can download watchOS 7.3.2 by going to the My Watch tab from the Watch app. Apple Watch users can get the update by heading to the Software Update section of the Watch app on iPhone or simply download it via Apple Watch. You can also download the latest update directly through your Apple Watch.
