The release of the Apple iPhone 14 may postpone. An upcoming report claims that Apple may postpone the release of the iPhone 14 series because of the current political conflicts between China and Taiwan. Everything started when Nancy Pelosi, the Speaker of the US House of Representatives, paid a visit to Taiwan, which China did not like. As Taiwan is home to TSMC, one of the biggest semiconductor makers in the world. China is home to Apple’s main component suppliers for the iPhone.

Launch of Apple iPhone 14 May Delay Due to China-Taiwan tensions
The continuing political unrest may bring changes that will make it more difficult to produce the iPhone. Apple has reportedly urged its Taiwanese suppliers to adhere to China’s new rules, which prohibit labelling products as “manufactured in Taiwan, China” or “Chinese Taipai.”

The Pegatron facility in Suzhou, China, which manufactures some goods for American companies like Microsoft and Taiwan, is already experiencing delays from China in the delivery of materials from suppliers in Taiwan. Customs are delaying these goods as they search the shipping documentation for any indication of Taiwan or its formal “Republic of China” status.
Production in India
Apple’s determination to move its production bases outside of China may be a plus for India and other economies in this region. The iPhone 14 will produce in India by Apple in collaboration with Foxconn, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. It’s likely that just the 6.1-inch iPhone will produce in India.
However, it will be the first time that Apple launches its most recent iPhone in China and India. The company has been requesting that various iPhone models, including the Apple iPhone 13, Apple iPhone 1, and the Apple iPhone 11 to produce in India by its suppliers. However, a few quarters after the debut, the manufacturing cycle was delayed.
