Apple will be soon launching its latest iPhone 13 this month. A recent report claims that the upcoming model will have a feature of satellite communication connectivity. Through a Low Earth Orbit Satellite, Apple users will be able to make calls and send messages. With this, the users can make calls and messages even without a network. However, the feature will be available only in select markets.

Apple started its LEO Satellite X iPhone testing in 2019. However, this is the first time it is featured in any Apple line-up. The new satellite feature in the Apple iPhone 13 will reportedly allow users to transmit short emergency texts and send SOS distress signals for crises, like plane crashes or sinking ships, in remote areas.
iPhone 13 Features
The iPhone 13 series will consist of 4 models, the standard iPhone 13, 13 Pro, 13 Pro Max, and 13 Mini. The models will see a lot of changes in the Face ID feature of the Apple iPhone 13. The iPhone 13 also accompanies a special feature that allows users to unlock the phone even with masks on. Also, even if someone puts on glasses in the fog or the sun, the phone will recognize the user’s face and unlock the phone.

The Apple iPhone 13 series will get support for mmWave 5G. Many countries are on their way to get mmWave 5G coverage by this year so that users can enjoy high-speed 5G connectivity. The mmWave network provides faster internet than any other 5G network but at a higher price.
Apple Watch Series 7
Alongside improving Apple iPhone, Apple is also working on new watch faces for the Apple Watch Series 7 which will have a larger screen. The latest watch series is set to release along with iPhone 13 later this month. The smartwatch might come in 41mm and 45mm models. The display will be about 1.9-inch – a 20% to 30% larger screen. Also, a smaller S7 chip will give more space for a larger battery and additional components. This chipset is made by Taiwan’s ASE technology.
