The Indian government has approved 5G Commercial Roll out which means that 5G service will be available in the next months. The Union Cabinet, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, has approved spectrum price for 5G auctions. The government claims that 5G users will have 10 times the speed of India’s 4G network. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) will reportedly begin work on the Notice Inviting Application (NIA) now that the government has approved 5G spectrum auctions (NIA). The auction will commence in a few weeks after this is made public. While it is unknown when 5G services will be available, we do know that customers will be able to enjoy them faster in 2022.
Commercial Rollout Of 5G Might Happen In September
It was earlier believed that the rollout of 5G could begin on August 15, but this does not appear to be the case. Given the current position, the commercial launch of 5G could occur in September. Please keep in mind that 5G will not be available to everyone at first, but will progressively become available throughout India.

Don’t anticipate 5G to reach every corner of the country in a matter of months. It may take years for the most recent network to reach everyone, as we have seen with 4G. There is currently no word on which telecom operator would be the first to offer 5G services.
According to the government 72GHz of spectrum will be out for auction in multiple frequency bands, including 600 MHz, 700 MHz, 800 MHz, 900 MHz, 1800 MHz, 2100 MHz, 2300 MHz, 3300 MHz, and 26 GHz.
According to the estimate, India will gain 500 million additional internet users over the next five years. India would require 22 million skilled people in 5G-related technologies such as IoT, AI, robots, and cloud computing by 2025. Ericsson will begin producing 5G radio devices in India for both domestic and international markets.
