Apart from OnePlus, Micromax, and Samsung, manufacturers such as POCO, Xiaomi, OPPO, Vivo, Lava, and Tecno have chipped in a few models too. Altogether, here are the smartphones launched in July 2021 in India.

1. OnePlus Nord 2
OnePlus Nord 2 was one of the most anticipated smartphones launched in July 2021, which is successor to the Nord launched earlier last year. The Nord 2 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200-AI chipset which is custom-designed with up to 12GB of RAM on offer. It sports a 6.43-inch Fluid AMOLED FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate.

2. POCO F3 GT
POCO F3 GT is one of the most anticipated smartphones to launch in India in the recent past. Of course, it is a rebranded Redmi K40 Gaming Edition, but it competes straight up with the Nord 2 in this list. The F3 GT is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It sports a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED Display 120Hz refresh rate and comes with tactical RGB lights for added aesthetic.

Samsung has added another smartphone to its ‘A’ lineup and this time, it’s the Galaxy A22 5G, the first 5G smartphone in the A-series. It comes with a 6.6-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 700 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage.
On the rear, it has a triple camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor, a 5MP ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera in the tear-drop notch. 4. Samsung Galaxy M21 2021 Edition
Apart from the 5G device addition to the A-series, Samsung has also added a device to the M-series, the Galaxy M21 2021 Edition. It sports a 6.41-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Samsung’s own Exynos 9611 octa-core chipset and comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB storage.

OPPO has finally launched the next device in its Reno lineup in India. The Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro come with a ColorOS based Android 11 out of the box. Both Reno 6 and Reno 6 Pro sport an FHD+ AMOLED display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While the Reno 6 comes with a 6.43-inch display, the Reno 6 Pro comes with a 6.55-inch display. Coming to what’s under the hood, the Reno 6 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC while the Reno 6 Pro is powered by Dimensity 1200 SoC.
Onto the cameras, the Reno 6 is equipped with a triple rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor, an 8MP Ultra-wide angle sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor while the Reno 6 Pro comes with an additional 2MP macro sensor with a quad-rear camera setup. 7. Vivo Y72 5G
Vivo in the month of July has added yet another phone to their Y-series with the Vivo Y72 5G. The Y72 5G sports a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and comes powered with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 SoC bundled with 8GB physical and 4GB virtual RAM. Along with that, it has 128GB of storage which can be expandable via a MicroSD card.
On the rear, the Vivo Y72 5G comes with a dual rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor and a 2MP monochrome sensor. 8. Lava Z2s
Coming to the budget segment, the first one we have is the Lava Z2s which runs on Android Go. It sports a 6.51-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch and a normal 60Hz refresh rate display. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G35 chipset coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage.

Tecno has launched yet two other smartphones in the Camon lineup, the Tecno Camon 17 and Camon 17 Pro priced starting at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 16,999 respectively.
The Tecno Camon 17 comes with a 6.6-inch HD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate and is powered by the Mediatek Helio G85 SoC bundled with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The device features a 6.52-inch HD+ display and is powered by the Unisoc T610 SoC with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. Micromax is providing Android 11 with the Micromax In 2B out of the box.
