India saw a multitude of launches in September, which was quite odd considering we fear and dread Techtober as the month that sees a lot of launches, but this time, September saw a whole lot of action. That being said, let us not delay the important topic any further and list out the devices that were launched in September.

1. Samsung Galaxy M51
One of the first few devices to launch in Techtember, the Samsung Galaxy M51 made quite a lot of headlines for three features in particular. The first being pricing, Rs 25,000 onwards, the second being the inclusion of a Snapdragon 730G, which also meant the deviation of Samsung from Exynos in the mid-range segment and finally, a mammoth 7000 mAh battery.
Advertised as a monster device, it really is a monster of sorts, which offers good performance, ample battery life, and familiar Samsung hardware. This was one of the most compelling launches by Samsung in recent times.

2. Oppo F17 Pro
This device had a peculiar launch event, to say the least, with the event seeming more like a concert than a launch event. The device that launched was quite interesting though, so that makes up for the other things.
The Oppo F17 Pro features a 6.43-inch AMOLED panel, 48-megapixel quad cameras, a stunning design with a slim body, and the Helio P95. The device was priced at Rs 22990, which is not too expensive, but, it is far from being competitive. The smartphone also featured dual selfie cameras that added to its feature set.

3. Oppo F17
Alongside the Oppo F17 Pro, the brand launched the lite version of the Oppo F17 Pro, which was the vanilla Oppo F17. This device features a similar 6.4-inch Super AMOLED display, but, with a waterdrop notch to the top.
Powered by the Snapdragon 662, it is no slouch, but, it is certainly not an enthusiast’s phone. The cameras too are pretty normal with a 16-megapixel quad camera setup to the back. The best feature of this device is undoubtedly it’s back, with a beautiful leather finish on all three variants of the phone. The device is priced at Rs 17,990.

4. Realme 7
Realme as always has atleast one entrant each month, with the initial stages of this month being taken over by the Realme 7. The device features the same display as it’s predecessor and brings a bigger battery, a new finish and a 64-megapixel Sony sensor to it’s skill set, all of which are upgrades over the already popular Realme 6.
The device is priced at just Rs 14999 for the 6+64 GB variant and it is one of, if not the best options in the segment.

5. Realme 7 Pro
With a vanilla variant, there always comes a Pro. This time, Realme outdid itself with the Realme 7 Pro. The device comes with a Super AMOLED panel, the same but still quite capable Snapdragon 720G, 65W Super Dart charging, an in-display fingerprint sensor, all of which are massive upgrades over the previous Realme 6 Pro.
The cameras of Realme 7 Pro are a bit of an upgrade and a downgrade, with the addition of a better primary sensor, but, the removal of a telephoto sensor in favor of a depth sensor. The device is priced at Rs 19999 and it is again, one of the best options at that price point.

6. Redmi 9A
Where there is a Realme, there is a Redmi. Xiaomi launched the Redmi 9A a bit too late this time and it is what should we say, well, interesting. It features a 5000 mAh battery, the Helio G25, a 13-megapixel camera, a 6.53-inch HD+ display, all for Rs 6799. While this is not a very spec focused phone, it is a good budget phone for someone looking to buy their kids a phone for today’s Zoom schooling world.

7. Poco M2
Well, it’s a Redmi 9 Prime with a Poco badge. The Poco M2 features a 6.53-inch FHD+ panel with a water-drop notch. The device is powered by the Helio G80 and comes with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of Internal storage.
To power the phone, Poco has equipped it with a 5000 mAh battery with 18W charging support via a USB Type-C port. The device starts at just Rs 10999 for the 6+64GB variant and is the best bet for someone looking for a good phone in the 10-12k price segment.

8. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5G
The flagship of the flagships, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2 features a massive 7.6-inch AMOLED panel when unfolded and a 6.23-inch Super AMOLED outer or cover display. The device runs on the highest end Snapdragon 865+ and comes with a glass body that oozes premium build.

9. TECNO Spark Power 2 Air
The name of this device is a mouthful. The Spark Power 2 Air features a massive HD+ 7-inch display, coupled with the Helio A22 processor, stereo speakers, quad rear cameras with a 13-megapixel primary sensor, a 6000 mAh goliath of a battery and a rear fingerprint sensor, all for Rs 8499.

10. Redmi 9i
Another week, another Redmi. The Redmi 9i features a 6.53-inch HD+ display, the same Helio G25 chip as the Redmi 9A, the same 5000 mAh battery, and a similar camera setup to the 9A, with the only difference being the storage, with up to 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The Redmi 9i is priced at Rs 8299 and is basically a higher storage variant of the 9A from the same brand.

11. Infinix Note 7
Next up, we saw Infinix launch the Note 7, which was the first device from the brand in a long time that did not feature a helio P22 or A22 budget chip.
The Infinix Note 7 comes with a 6.95-inch HD+ display with a punch-hole on top, coupled with the Helio G70 chipset, a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup, a 5000 mAh battery, and 4GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage, all for just Rs 11499, which is quite a good pricing for an Infinix phone.

12. Realme Narzo 20 Pro
Realme held it’s Narzo series event on 21st of September, where the company launched three new phones, the first of them being the Narzo 20 Pro, which is a slightly weird cousin of the previously launched Realme 7.

The Narzo 20 Pro features a similar display as the Realme 7, with the major differences being a downgrade in the cameras (from 64 to 48-megapixel quad-camera setup), support for 65W Super Dart charging instead of 30W Dart Charge, a different back design, and the Narzo branding.
The Narzo 20 Pro is priced at Rs 14999, for the 6+64 GB variant, which is quite confusing, considering the Realme 7 is priced exactly the same.

13. Realme Narzo 20
Alongside the Realme Narzo 20 Pro, we saw the launch of the Narzo 20. The Narzo 20 features a 6.5-inch HD+ display with a waterdrop notch to the top. The device also comes with the Helio G85, which is a very minor upgrade over the G80 found on the Poco M2 and Redmi 9 Prime.
The device also comes with a 48-megapixel quad-camera stack, a massive 6000 mAh battery, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor all for just Rs 10499. This makes the device a compelling buy for someone looking to buy the M2 or the 9 Prime from Poco/Redmi.

14. Realme Narzo 20A
The cheapest of the Narzo devices, the Narzo 20A features a 6.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of HD+, similar to the Narzo 20. The device is powered by the Snapdragon 665 with up to 4GB of RAM. The cameras on the same are a triple camera setup with a primary 12-megapixel sensor.
The device also comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with the Narzo series design (Pattern) to the back of the device. The pricing for the same is Rs 8499, which makes it the direct competitor to the Redmi 9i/9C.
15. Poco X3
One of the most awaited devices, the successor to the Poco X2, which was a success, the Poco X3 gets a lot of things, especially the pricing right. The device features a massive 6.67-inch FHD+ IPS panel with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a touch sampling rate of 240 Hz.

The device also features a massive 6000 mAh battery, the Snapdragon 732G, up to 8GB of RAM and a 64-megapixel quad camera. Some additional features include an enlarged copper heat pipe with multiple layers of graphite to tackle heating under intense situations, something that was a bit of an issue with the X2.
The Poco X3 starts at just Rs 16999, which is simply a stellar deal considering the competition.

16. Moto E7 Plus
Next up, we saw Motorola launch a budget device in the form of the Moto E7 Plus. The device features a 6.5-inch HD+ Max Vision display with a water-drop style notch to the front. The device runs on the Snapdragon 460 coupled with 4GB of RAM and comes with a massive 5000 mAh battery.
The device also comes with a dual-camera setup with a primary 48-megapixel sensor coupled with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The device is priced at Rs 9499 for the 4+64 GB variant and competes with the likes of the Narzo 20 and the Redmi 9 Prime.
