With the Mi 10 and the Mi 10 Pro, Xiaomi today added another new member to its ‘Mi 10’ series lineup, Mi 10 Youth Edition. The Mi 10 Youth Edition is not to be confused with the Mi 10 Lite launched in Europe last month, although the design is quite similar.

Mi 10 Youth Edition Specifications

The Mi Youth Edition is Mi’s second mid-range 5G offering, the Redmi K30 5G being the first. With this new model, the company aims at bringing 5G to a greater number of people without any compromise in a premium smartphone experience. The Mi 10 Youth Edition, like the costlier Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro, flaunts a glass-sandwich design coupled with a gorgeous AMOLED panel and decent camera upgrades.

So, there is a massive 6.57-inch AMOLED display with a Full-HD+ (1080 x 2400) resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio with a pixel density of 401ppi. The panel also possesses Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top along with HDR10+ support.

Under the hood, as we expected, lies the Qualcomm SDM765 Snapdragon 765G chipset along with Adreno 620 GPU. It is an Octa-core which gets paired with up to 8GB of LPDDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.1 built-in storage. Thanks to the integrated Snapdragon X52 chipset, we get dual-mode 5G support (SA/NSA) with this device.

The Mi 10 Youth Edition Camera looks magnificent on paper, as we get a quad camera module at the back which consists of a 48MP primary camera along with an 8MP periscopic camera with PDAF, OIS and 5x optical zoom. There’s also an 8MP ultra-wide lens with a 120-degree FOV and a macro camera to take close-up shots. At the front we have an old-school notch housing a 16MP selfie snapper.
