Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 is now back with a new season, hosted by Bollywood superstar, Amitabh Bachchan. The series is the Indian adaptation of the reality series titled Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? It has completed over two decades in Indian television. Moreover, even Amitabh Bachchan is celebrating his 21-year long association with the show. In addition, this time around, unlike last year, the show will have its audience back again in the studio bringing back its charm.

Like every season, KBC 13 is also arriving this year with a theme. This time the theme is ‘Jawaab Aap Hi Ho’ as the season will celebrate every human and their right to ‘gyaan, dhyaan and samman’. Moreover, the entire look and feel of the set, from the floor LED to the use of AR (Augmented Reality); a refreshed motorized virtual ceiling and gameplay graphics has been re-engineered.
Additionally, KBC’s promotional campaign this year was helmed by director Nitesh Tiwari. He is known for films like Dangal and Chhichhore. There were three short films titled Sammaan.

The 13th season of Kaun Banega Crorepati hit television screens on August 23, 2021.

KBC 13 is airing on Sony TV. You can also watch the show on the SonyLIV app. The show airs from Monday-Friday at 9 pm.

Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 brings big changes in format
- The ‘fastest finger first’ round is now modified to ‘Fastest Finger First – Triple Test’.
Meaning, instead of one question, the answer to which had to be chronologically aligned, contestants will now have to answer three GK questions. A leaderboard will showcase the time taken by each contestant to answer the respective questions and the one to answer all three questions correctly in the shortest amount of time will head straight to the hot seat! - The lifeline ‘audience poll’ will be back this season of Kaun Banega Crorepati 13.
- Every Friday, the show’s special segment will be called Shaandaar Shukravaar where Amitabh Bachchan will host celebrity guests from all walks of life who will play the game for a social cause.
- The game timer has been renamed ‘‘Dhuk-Dhuki ji’. Now, we all know this is new name is apt for the game’s timer as it always keep us at edge of our seats.
