Jio Rs 255 Disney+ Hotstar VIP Plan Price Increased

Earlier this month, Jio announced some cricket centric packs with the Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription bundle. It came with the cheapest plan of Rs.222 – an add-on pack that expires as per the expiration date as your base calling pack. However, in one of the crucial decisions, the telco has hiked this plan’s pricing.

Jio decided to increase the cost of the plan by Rs. 33 making the new price Rs. 255. It will not bring any changes to its benefits. This add-on plan comes with Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription for a year. In addition, it runs till the user has a base voice calling plan activated on the number.

Once recharged, the user will need to download the Disney+ Hotstar app and log in using the OTP from their existing Jio number to avail of the benefit.

However, to avail of this offer,  the user must be subscribed to a calling pack. Rs. 255 pack offers unlimited mobile data with 15GB high-speed mobile data. Once this 15GB data is consumed by the user, the data-speeds fall down to 64kbps. This plan by Jio comes bundled with the annual Disney+Hotstar VIP subscription, which itself costs Rs. 399.

Jio offers an annual Disney+ Hotstar VIP subscription to its users with a range of new tariff plans and addon packs. It has Rs. 401, Rs. 499, Rs. 612, Rs. 777, Rs. 1004, Rs. 1,206, Rs. 1,208 and Rs. 2,599 plans, all these plans come with different validities and benefits.

Moreover, there is a dedicated Cricket plan which is priced at ₹499. The pack will be valid for 56 days and 1.5GB of data per day.
